Utah-based Multifamily Developer and Operator Will Implement the Entrata OS Throughout 2,400-Home Portfolio

LEHI, Utah – April 1, 2025 Entrata, a leading AI-enabled multifamily industry operating system, today announced its new partnership with Mountain States Property Management, a leading rental-housing developer and operator with a large presence in the Intermountain West.

Mountain States Property Management, a developer, owner and operator, will roll out Entrata’s full property management platform across its portfolio, which currently consists of 2,400 apartment homes and is projected to grow to 3,700 within the next five years. Mountain States operates 11 communities within Utah and Nevada, and the company soon plans to expand into Idaho.

“Mountain States has always exhibited a forward-thinking approach and has remained on the cutting edge in making progress towards solving the housing crisis in the Intermountain West,” said Chase Harrington, President of Entrata. “This is an organization that genuinely cares about its residents and associates, and while we tremendously value all of our partnerships, it’s always special to team with a company from the area that has made a positive difference in the local community.”

By adopting the Entrata platform, Mountain States will utilize the premier property management platform and Entrata’s advanced suite of analytics. The system, which operates off a single data source to create prime efficiency, also includes Entrata’s innovative Revenue Intelligence and Business Intelligence solutions.

“When seeking an single-source Operating System for our entire portfolio, Entrata’s transparency undoubtedly was a deterministic factor,” said Alex Norr, CEO of Mountain States Property Management. “The platform’s optionality and ability to customize are enormous benefits, as is the capability to work from a single data source rather than within silos. Ultimately, we envisioned Entrata as the ideal partner for building for the future of multifamily, as the robust support from their team coupled with the platform’s forward-thinking infrastructure will enable us to keep pace as we continually grow.”

In addition to the ability to consolidate systems and the opportunity for hands-on support, Norr and Mountain States also valued the opportunity for a partnership with a fellow Utah-based company.

“We are committed to building and supporting the Utah economy, and partnering with a local company is a simple way we can live up to that commitment,” Norr said.
